Planned Battle Rating Changes (August 2026)

Vehicle: P-47D-28

Mode: Air Realistic battles

BR revision: 4.7 → 5.0

Reason: The lack of airbrakes on the P-47D-28 do not justify a 0.3 lower BR with it’s Italian and Chinese brothers, unlike the case seen with the P-38J-15 and P-38L-5-LO, the airbrakes on P-47s aren’t lifesavers and are very situational, even if they were, the airbrakes are basically decoration due to their small size and the sheer mass of the P-47.

unless you drive T-72/90 chassis, modern stab cut-off is around 72 kph.

yak-3U should be 6.0 insted of 5.7 its unbalanced it can out turn the bf109 k4 and out climb it, the k4 cant do anything against the yak-3U.

I was very rarely killed from a cannon (shells take off without damage), but almost any machine gun kills this vehicle head-on. I speak mainly for RSV, I did not play in German. My main thought is that it doesn’t change much anyway, you can’t kill the vast majority of tanks, and there’s little point in breaking out barrels and harps except to piss off the enemy.
Once in a battle against the Germans or the Soviets, he will not be able to kill anyone.

Vehicle: F8F-1

Mode Air Realistic battles

BR revision: 4.7 → 5.0

Reason: The F8F could perfectly hold it’s own in 5.0, there was never a need to drop it to 4.7, the acceleration, climbrate, top speed (at sea level I may add), dogfight capability can still carry 4x 50cals to 5.0 and even with gunpods (not very aerodynamic) for a total of 8x 50cals the F8F-1 is still equal to the P-51D-30 and P-47D-30s (Italian and Chinese)

Doesn’t sound much better than the the Scimitar 1 if the slat armor not that useful.

Gets Thermals but has worse armor. How the heck is it that much better than Scimitar 1 which is hardly a game-breaker.

The gunpods add two .50s each, no? With them it has comparable firepower to P-47.

Not one 5.7 can’t actually beat a Yak-3U on a 1v1 unless the Yak-3U, shoot itselfs in the face behind the screen.

You can kill most tanks from the side, I don’t know if you are trying to ignore that or if you seriously are suggesting that not being able to penetrate frontally is a reason for these autocannon spam monsters to go down in BR

I’d argue for giving it a postwar fuel setting of 115/145 rather than the common 100/130 fuel setting. In other words, it will improve engine performance and flight performance. So it shall never go below 5.0 anymore.

I think the new scimitar should go to BR7.7 is slower than the normal one It just get a cage termals and a laser rangefinder

Wasn’t D28 already on 100/150? There was a P-47M bug report that mentioned this - P-47M itself is on 100/130, and has lower engine performance than D28.

You can’t kill almost all Soviet tanks, and you can’t kill American tanks either, you cant kill ww2 tanks. And you’re going to continue to ignore the fact that these machines show the worst result among almost all tanks, 0.3-0.5 KD is not normal.

There was a report on all P-47’s but it was rejected because it would need BR adjustments (why bro just like move them up? Why do you sell 90 dollar crap then???)

Yes, that’s correct. D-28 runs on 100/150, and P-47M is stuck with 100/130.

Doesn’t make sense for the P-47M in this situation, as the P-47M fleet was stationed in England and given this fuel meant for to counter lethal German threats like the Me 262.

I made a proposal for this.

Should the Do-335 at 4.3 come up or nah? practically the same as the 4.7 one

Ohh I thought you were replying to P47D28 suggestion and not F8F’s. The main issue with it is the ahistorical overheating - it suffered from overcooling at high speeds.

Both are quite mid and I’ve never seen one do well.

acceleration of an early jet practically and very bad in headons because they can’t pull away.

Oh yeah, no worries. The 115/145 fuel setting is for US Navy props in the postwar environment.

I have heard that Pacific-based Mustangs were even given 115/145 in 1945 for experimental purposes. I need to research this area.
