You know whats the most funny part about this situation?
They are the one who keeps telling classified documents should not be published under any circumstances while asking proper sources which is equal to getting classified documents in the first place.
İ mean cmon Gaijin how the hell are we suppose to find exact protection Numbers without getting our hands on classified sources?

I think they’re figuring something to do.
Cause relying on the most recently declassified armor material for tanks is causing issues even if it’s fair & unbiased to do that.

Here’s the thing right. We know what we need for armor reports with the current standards: Numbers.
Relative improvement numbers, exact numbers, relative numbers using ammo, etc.
Nothing is stopping me from going to a museum and measuring Abrams roof armor for example.
Finding documents however is a challenge, especially French docs.
Since we know what we need, we can figure out methods to get that information legally.

The closest we have to relatively close numbers not in Russian is that it can be penetrated by 9M133.
You would think it would then be correlated to the data in Russian by I guess not.
I think we should focus on mobility, fire control and firepower buff/fixes. Trying to rework the armor is a pointless enterprise for one reason: All public records about the Leclercs (Sweden, Greece, UK and Turkey) point at the tank being unarmored in relation to other market options (Ex. Leopard 2).

I remember that the only reason Type 10 got its armor is cause of a test Japan did using its own round to make Type 10 resistant.
The problem is thag those records were made before the Leclerc even entered service.
