It’s likely the only way this nation will ever materialize in War Thunder. When BVV_d was questioned about the Oplot (nobody mentioned the Soviet tree) he said “for now the Soviet tree will receive prototypes”.
Maybe in your wet dreams. Gaijin would have already added Ukrainian vehicles if they wanted to. They haven’t done so for a reason: to avoid a shitstorm from Ukrainian players. We might get an Eastern European tech tree in the future, including Poland, the Czech Republic, and other countries.
The Russian player base might also disappear from Western servers in the future, as has already happened with WoT and WoWS. Russian players will become less important in the long run. Even now, with the ruble being weak, the Russian market is already less important.
It’s not a dream it’s observation. I’m just telling you what hints we have already, you don’t have to accept or believe it. It doesn’t change anything.
“Western servers”? You mean international servers?? Anyway you’d be cutting about 30% of the player base from the matchmaker and there is absolutely no reason for it.
there no hints. It would aready happened.
If it happens, it won’t be Gaijin’s decision. Russia is already heavily restricting access to the Western internet. Who knows what the future holds?

No? If this were the case, where are the Belarusian vehicles? You can’t tell me they’ll be apart of some fantasy tree too right.? Maybe perhaps, Gaijin has other plans.
Not going to get into politics.
I just don’t see this kind of thing happening because one big detail, they already implemented pixel storm which is used to circumvent payment sanctions.

Yeah, you know that this actually supports my argument.
Think about it, Russia and Ukraine have been in conflict since 2014, and Gaijin still hasn’t added any Ukrainian vehicles to the Russian tech tree, for good reason.
However, they have found a loophole by adding Thai and Pakistani vehicles to other nations tech trees.
I mean, not really? One of those trees needed a sub tree and Thailand was the best option, the other one just happened to have Ukrainian vehicles, they didn’t even receive the Oplot in the same update, only after it was asked for on here.
Also if it supported your argument where are the Belarusian vehicles or more Kazakh vehicles?
The only vehicle so far that has been controversial was the VT-4 in Japan, which iirc did say they’d add eventually.
I wonder if there’s any Ukrainian export vehicles that haven’t been mentioned in the discussion yet.
I spoke of Kazakh vehicles earlier, supposedly they received some BTR-4s for sample and testing and ordered a bunch but the order fell through.
It’s the Soviet tech tree not Russian. The fact that a majority of successful Soviet tanks were made in Kharkiv (Ukraine) makes it as much a Ukrainian tree as a Russian one.
Technically speaking, there is already a Ukrainian line in the Soviet tree, it’s the BT/T-34/T-44 line, my proposal is just to continue it.
IMO adding modern Ukrainian tanks to the Soviet tree acknowledges the achievements of Ukraine not only as an independent country but also before that.
These are my thoughts too, this is most likely the only way we will ever see Ukraine in war thunder.
The most over-bloated ADHD tech tree ever designed… Would be a nightmare from hell.
No one’s going to want to start that tech tree. That’s hell for newer players. The already existing Tech Tree is ALREADY HELL. I know because I spent 11k hours in the game and still don’t even have all the AA, and I play the TT a lot. Frankly it’s not smart. Just add another tree.
Then you don’t have to grind the entirety of a different nations tanks to get to what you want. Lessening a recurring issue with this game. People get advertised these shiny new vehicles that they’ll almost never reach because of ideas like that. We must lessen the grind (mainly for new players) not increase it…

I tried to alleviate the problem, tho I think maybe a separate line would be better, T-64B Diverges into two lines or starts as a new line like the Thai line in Japan, I will try to do that next.
Since folders can hold up to 4 that might alleviate some of the problem
That actually looks pretty nice, though isn’t there a 5 line limit?
I love this idea to add Ukrainian tanks to the Soviet tech tree.
