Too small for the NLOS (Bulsae-4 is not the right designation, that refers to the upgraded laser beam riding 9M111), and we haven’t seen loitering munitions used yet, I would be very surprised if it wasn’t the Bulsae-5.
There was a story from a deserter that North Korea freaked out about some western tank they got there hands on most likely a Abrams meany years ago.
Not impossible export Abrams have been captured someone could have sold one to them.
Take it with a grain of salt though but it’s realistic.
North Korea does have at least one Abrams, but it was donated by Russia recently.

The deserter story is interesting, although most reputable sources suggest it was either a prototype of the Ch’onma-2 / 20, or just someone unaware of tanks misidentifying it. Of course, it’s not implausible they received an Abrams from an allied Middle Eastern country, but there’s no way of knowing for sure.
That’s the grain of salt would be funny if it was some other western tank that they got there hands on but it was to embarrassing for the German or French to bring it up.
North Korea seems to be getting lots of samples from Russia I guess there engineering teams will have a fun taking all the ideas out of them.
They also get there hands on drones like the Geran though that could be a mix of Russia wanting to take advantage of North Korean industrial potential.
Also NK top brass can do open source internet intelligence like anyone else and still freak out about western tank.
I want this TT so bad, once original K2 enters the game we could hope for Poland and Turkey.
Two potential newly developed vehicles hiding in this images.
The first looks like some sort of IFV on a 323 chassis (not even the lengthened one as used on the Sinhung and Chunma-D), which is an odd choice. The second shows some sort of SPG turret, likely a 122mm.
Edit: Was using lower quality images, replaced them. Much easier to determine what the vehicles are now.
The SPG looks like a simlar shape to the 2S19 although with a shorter barrel
Yeah, you never know
Genuinely wild that North Korea lacks or hasnt made a true 30mm+ barreled ifv yet
Makes me wonder if the arrival of captured Marder and Bradley IFVs from Russia had something to do with this new development. Even then, the chassis and running gear seems primitive, so I question if we’re seeing a testbed of sorts here rather than something parade-worthy.
Source for high res image of Ch’onma-20+new IFV and 122mm turret was taking a suspicious amount of time to load (probably due to being Argentinian domain), so just in case I will post the original photo here as well. WT forums automatically saps resolution unfortunately, so original will remain slightly better, but this is still sharper than some of the original NK sources (and whatever is being shared around by many western ones currently).
North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un displayed the Hwasong-20 missile, capable of reaching the United States - Lobos News
I wouldn’t. Cromwell is one of those few “copy-and-paste” vehicles that were never really captured or serviced by many countries. In fact, one of the few well-known reports we have is the North Korean one.
122?
Didn’t you lie about something being a T-62 with 0 proof and then never replied? Oops
I completely misread lmao. Thanks for the clarification.
