What’s the difference between this and the Elde gameplay wise? Why would anyone pick these over the NASAMS 3?
Elde is good NOMADS is hell, which is saying something cause Elde is trash

I’ll definitely take it over the shidder that is the Elde, but it’s not much better, especially with the absolutely insane amount of cas I’ve seen every match, especially the Mi28NM, I have yet to have a top tier match that doesn’t have at least 1-2 Lmur spammers, and you can’t even do anything about them, even in the NASAM, you have to pray for battle mode and pray your team is competent enough to defend you, then on top of those prayers, you have to pray your missiles decide to intercept.
I had a match with 28 intercepts, only because I was lucky enough to have a competent team that realized that the second I was dead the Lmurs we’re going to wreck us all
Genuinely the only way to have fun as an AA is to have someone in your squad play russia, otherwise you’re facing mach 5 ARM mixed with mach 2.2 KH-38MT, so you turn off your radar to defeat one thing and instantly get screwed by another, honestly at this point I might just be coping

While not the most outwardly interesting addition, I think an earlier production variant of the Strv m/42, such as the TM model, would make for a good addition to fill out Sweden’s low rank line-ups.
The TM is a better candidate for the 2.3-2.7 slot than the Lago I, which is only at its current BR thanks to a very asynchronous APDS round. Were this round removed, the Lago would need to be dropped down to 1.7-2.0, opening up a spot for the TM to slot into the progression
Additionally, the Strv m/42 EH in its current state is an already a decent vehicle teetering on the edge of being 3.0. Were solid shot to ever receive a damage buff, I could see the EH going up to 3.0, in which case, the slightly inferior TM model could easily fill its place to preserve the 2.7 line-up.
At absolute worst, the TM is just a free back-up for the EH with a worse p/w, but I think it can serve a more important role if the current Swedish medium tank progression is reworked accordingly.

Maybe if it’s armor or mobility were decent but unfortunately your best round is the APHE which has sub par pen for the BR.
The vehicle has pen more close to that if the Turan but without the armor or mobility.
I think it can only go up under the stipulation that the AP round gets a damage buff that would make it more reliable.

I could think of some more ‘unique’ alternatives.
- SK 37E (two-seater Viggen)
- B3LA (“Proposed” Light attack/trainer)
- SK 60F (Basically an SK 60 that could carry 24Js and AGM-65s, upgraded engines, etc.)
- Hawk Mk. 55/61 (FIN) (Reportedly could carry R-60s, AIM-9Js, AIM-9Ms, SNEB rockets, etc.)
- A 35XD (DEN) (basically a Danish Draken that could use AGM-12s)

No flares with meh flight performance would shove it to BRs where it’s useless, same deal if we remove the unique attributes then it’s not unique it’s a lose lose type deal unfortunately
