Yes, they started using the ADENs in '54 with the hunters I found a document on Hunter Armament (Linked below) and on a table it says it has a tracer, However, this table is from the 1990s. Looking at gun cams on the glorious site known as Youtube, during live fire exercises I cannot see any tracer fire. I am unable to find any document specifically for the ADEN from the 50s or 60s, but i could just be missing it
It will stay at its BR, worse still, they’ll make it so the gun can’t be moved while the tank is moving, cherry on top, if a russian vehicle in game has a feature it did not have IRL, any report mentioning such will be ignored “not a bug”.
it wouldn’t, look at the Conway (it is overtiered imo but still)
Unlikely, unless the loss of a stab would make it too bad for 7.3 with current reload, but they wish to keep it at a higher BR than Conway
its fine lol, I try to link related reports at the bottom of my reports when applicable
they don’t model limitations such as that, as quite a few platforms would not be able to train their gun on the move due to the sheer weight and size of Their guns (FV4005 for example), or some that would need to deploy recoil ploughs before firing (M55, FV4005, Pantsir, etc)
the issue with the report is that the Conq had no system for stabilisation that could be used for fire control, just the trim-stab which stopped the barrel from roleplaying as a tree, and that system itself was only Vertical between elevations of +1 and +15 degrees, and absolutely had nothing for the horizontal, but in game we have a full stabiliser that works for both vertical and horizontal, allowing us to fire on the move with impunity and in Negative gun elevations, where this was absolutely not possible IRL
I believe the NF and F II have a better engine than they should have. The statcard values are probably manually entered and based on performance figures or something.
Meanwhile they still haven’t fixed the Caernarvon being near 7 tons heavier than it should be…
Reports and mistakes only ever seem to go one way with our tree.
The Conq is one I’m surprised lasted as long as it did, I remember a report on the stab back on the old forum when I still bothered to get things fixed.
(Cent 10 is still missing its correct inner mantlet)
Finally found a source for how much filler 76mm HESH has, with 1.2kg of Comp A, that makes it fairly comparable to the 90mm HESH of the Aubl-74.
Dropping it here so I don’t forget.
(Specifically page 116)
Hello guys, is there a dircm on any British helicopter? The American Apache has this system, and the Russian MI 28 NM has it, but is there a similar system on British helicopters?
Only the Chinook at the moment iirc. But our AH-64Es remain fully compatible, with any luck they’ll give us DIRCM for sake of balance. Though I do reckon it will be unlikely
does the asraam have a guidance delay? Ik sraam has .2 second delay, but surely asraam improves on it and has something like a .15 second delay similar to r73, mica, 9x etc.
I see that camm has a 1.2 second guidance delay, but i would chalk that up to being a sam version of the asraam.
As far as I can tell, the only modern ir missiles to have 0 delay are the iris t variants (in game, idk about irl)
