what br do we think the hawk will be in grb?
also what are the specs of its rwr? (band coverage and identification)
RWR I think is Sky Guardian so the same RWR in the AV-8Ss and Sea Harrier FA2 (though dont quote me on that)
So if im not wrong:
as for BR… Assuming 2x AGM-65Bs? as the best A2G fit… Should be 10.3/10.7 based upon aircraft like the A-10. But with Gaijin, you never know

Im looking at it more like a better multirole version of the Buc S2B / Sea Harrier FRS1e with guided A2G but essentialy
ive religiously used the jag in grb up until they bugged LGBUS so having mavs would be rather nice
however afaik the hawk cant take phimat so ill be losing out on countermeasures
Yeah, GR1A is my go to as well and yeah, that bug is driving me nuts.
and yeah, where the Jag is good as a high alt GBU dropper with a lot of Chaff to help cover it. The Hawk is gunna be a low BR version of the Harrier T10/Gr7. Low, fast, hack and slash attacks with AGM-65
yeah itll be a nice change of playstyle
the hawks don’t get tgps though do they? i imagine i might have to rely on my friends for squad pings
Dont think so… There was a version that had a nose mounted camera a bit like the Harrier Gr7 has, but I dont know if its this version or not.
But given they are probably gunna be TV guided. Im guessing just using them kinda like Rocket pods that you lock onto something in third person at 4-6km is probably gunna be the norm. But you never know, maybe we’ll get IIR versions because its just 2

yeah and worst case scenario i just continue to use the jag and pray they hurry up with the lasing bug even if the better rwr is very enticing

Though as for the better RWR…
We have the Jaguar GR1B in all but name (Its cockpit, the Tpod, etc)
The jaguar Gr1B also includes an upgraded, digital RWR… would be good to finally get that at some point
also just checked and seems to just be the AV8S, FA2 has the ARI
I think its also the Sky Guardian but a different version/name or something. Not sure
At least Paul Tremellings book definetly references the FA2 having a Sky Guardian RWR

pipeline of sending a bug report and on the offchance it gets accepted we still wait a year or more as per most low priority british fixes
Not on the 200, the 100 has it as an option, but I haven’t heard anything about people adopting it

no biggie, aslong as i can get launch warning and ID spaa and fighters of the br then its good for me
