Planned Battle Rating Changes (August 2026)

It would also be a decent counter to the T20. The treatment of Allied medium tanks around this battle rating has always seemed inconsistent. Panthers sit at relatively low battle ratings, largely because many of the players using them don’t perform particularly well, while vehicles like the M26 and T-44 remain at 6.7 because the players seem to know what they’re doing.

The T-44 can certainly be difficult to deal with, but it’s far from invincible. This also isn’t an unreasonable request, especially considering the Tiger II (Nr.1-50) is being moved down to 6.3 and the IS-2s are also moving down in as well.

Nah.

So long as reserve cant see top tier, there is plenty of room to increase compression :P

To be completely honest, neither the Tigers, nor the IS-2s should be moving down
Gaijin is just doing their usual “who cares about compression” changes

We are getting closer and closer to that reality

Im not sure how the Su-30 premiums are going to cope vs the LF Spitfires and Zeros. They might need a buff

The Ho-Ri Prototype should move down to 6.3 as well. At 6.7, the Japanese medium tanks overshadow it, and the armour around the gun can be a bit weak at times. It has an excellent gun on an otherwise average platform. Personally, I prefer the Jagdpanther.

I can’t tell if you are serious or not

I’m being serious. Why do you think you hardly ever see that tank anymore? It’s because it’s nowhere near as strong as it used to be because you can kill it pretty easily now.

By the way, I’m talking about the much weaker premium prototype. Most people would take the Jagdpanther over the Ho-Ri. The only reason the Jagdpanther isn’t 6.7 is because of German players. That thing is amazing.

Vehicle: M113A1 (TOW) (China/Italy), Giraf

Mode: Ground Realistic Battles

Proposed BR change: 8.3 → 8.0

Reason: The M113A1 TOW launcher vehicles suffered great criticism for their bad mobility and lack of supportive equipments. (thermal imaging device, smoke grenades and an unmanned turret)
Their counterpart vehicles like the soviet IT-1, american M901 (C13/TUA), british Swingfire and Striker and swedish Pvrbv 551 & UDES 33 are all doing better than the M113A1 TOW at the same or even lower BR.

Moving them down from 8.3 to 8.0 would be a reasonable BR change to make the three vehicles’ BR more align with their combat capabilities.

The USSR lacks a CAS aircraft between BR 8.3 and 9.0 that features CCIP for free-fall bombs in Ground Historical Battles.

I’ve mentioned the 8.0 lineups many times, and it’ll be even harder to play if all the Leopard 1a5s move down to 9.0, which is genuinely insane. The Italian one literally has a laser warning receiver. I really hope that doesn’t happen. And for the T-44s, that suggestion makes sense because that’s how it was not too long ago.

it takes 4-6 rarden APDS shells to kill them frontally quite often.

considering its only 0.4 higher than scimitar 2 (insanity) this is a common occurence

I don’t know man, the Jagdpanther usually is much easier to kill
Also, the premium Jagdpanther seems to get a similar amount of playtime according to statshark and that one still performs a lot worse than the premium Ho-Ri

Even without those stats, stuff in the lower BRs needs to stop being moved down even further. We are just ending up with more and more compression in the BR ranges that are suffering the most from BR compression in GRB.

Vehicle: Mirage F1C family (Mirage F1C, Mirage F1CT, Mirage F1C-2000)

Mode: Ground Realistic Battles

Proposed BR change: 11.3 → 10.7 (F1CT 11.3 → 11.0)

Reason: The Mirage F1C family are just not built for high intensitve CAS missions. It is basicallt an inteceptor with bombs, rockets and CCIP. For a long time, simply because of the “amazing” magic 2 missiles and not-that-amazing Super 530F buddy it sits at an insane GBR of 11.3, with absoutly no matching-BR ground vehicles or guided CAS weapons.

It’s quite rediculous to me that it shares a same BR as the F4E Phantom II / Kurnass and the F5E FCU. Other similar aircrafts like the Tornado and the JH-7 (not JH-7A!) are all at the same of not much lower BR. Consider the fact that the F1C family all have good missiles, a moderate turning maneuverability and slightly above average bomb/rocket loadout plus radar homing missiles, a BR of 10.7 would be an understandable one. (the F1CT model goes to 11.0 for it has better RWR, important contribution to survivability)

Man the French vehicle la TaXe is insane. “Hmm the f1c turns worse than the JH-7, similar top tier fox 1 missiles, similar loadouts and worse RWR with little more countermeasures… I KNOW! IT HAS FOX1s! In 11.3 ya fellas go!”

Just a few more CMs

This is true for the most part. Instead of actually fixing the decompression issue, they keep changing which tanks should and shouldn’t move up or down. However, I judge a vehicle based on its actual performance rather than just its statistics.

The Ho-Ri could comfortably be at 6.3, as many of the tanks it faces can destroy it very easily, even at 6.0, with some being able to do so at 5.7. Unfortunately, the reason it was moved up is because of how well it performs in the hands of experienced players. It’s the same situation with vehicles like the T-44 and the F.M.

If this were to go through, I’d remove the BR-367 APHE round and BR-367P APCR round. Both are 50’s rounds that might make more sense on the T-44M, T-44S, and T-44MS.

I do admit im exaggerating here. Honestly though, I personally still don’t think the amount of CMs matter that much to GRB rather than fancy stuffs like a targeting pod and guided weapons.

You see if F1C family have even just a pod with two AS30Ls, they don’t have to conduct Super Dangerous CAS missions at all. 60 or maybe 80 on the JH-7 don’t matter that much to me than some 200+ flares and chaffs each. You still have to do dangerous recon flybys and charge directly towards tor-m1s and tunguskas.

Possibly nobody cares about french vehicles anyway tho.

No worries, I was just poking a bit of fun, even though I will say that 11.0 would be more fitting than 10.7.

I do care about these planes, but I also care about BR compression lol
