then you might be the only one, having grinded both Type 90’s and Merkava 3’s when they disn’t have stock apfsds and their only KE round was a Tier 3 modification the suffering was real. since most tanks of that era have good HEAT protection and USSR and CHN have mostly stock ERA to negate HEAT-FS.
I would advocate for No stock HEAT and at the very least one KE round as stock, anything is better the HEAT that triggers on everything and if you have rifle calibre MG you can’t even remove half of the obstructions. Anything from T6 and up seems about right.
Alpha Jet’s top speed reduced (FM nerf) (Bug Report)
Alpha Jet’s sustained G and thrust boundaries fixes (FM nerf) (Bug Report)
Reasoning: There are accepted reports that have not yet been implemented in War Thunder that would correct the Alpha Jet’s flight model, reducing its overperformance. It does not make sense that the Alpha Jet was moved up to 9.0 in the last BR changes feedback without applying those FM nerfs.
Vehicle: Type 99
Gamemode: Ground Realistic
BR Change: 7.3 —> 6.7
Reason: The Type 99 is absolutely identical to the 2S19M1 and AuF1. The autoloader is the same, 7.5 seconds. The mobility of the Type 99 is slightly worse than that of the two aforementioned artillery systems. The Type 99’s aiming angle is only -2, compared to -4 and -5 on analogs. Compared to its counterparts, the Type 99 looks the worst; the inability to depress the gun imposes significant limitations that others don’t. Note: the AS90 has a 5-second reload time and a -5 gun depression at BR 7.0. The Type 99 should follow its counterparts at BR 6.7, otherwise its current BR is simply absurd.
Reasoning: Flight performance is very mediocre and underwhelming when compared to the competition at it’s BR, it does not perform well there currently either.
The airspawn it used to have has long been removed and it is currently the same BR as stuff such as the Mig-17/Lim-5/Mig-17PF/F2 Sabre (This is just the FJ-4B but better in every way)/Cl13A, which are all superior in every metric.
It’s speed is ok, however it doesn’t turn that well and it’s very heavy, the only things it has going for it are Aim-9B’s and the Cannons.
It’s flight performance is much more in line with with aircraft you’d find at 8.3 such as the F9F-8/Swift F1/Saab-105. Moving it down would make it worth flying as a fighter again since you would not face 9.7 and the flight performance would be somewhat more competitive at 8.3.
Same long range IRCCM missiles as the SANTAL, but with the added
bonus of guns to cover close range. Again not much to add. IRCCM does not belong facing flareless post-war jets.
(note)
In accordance with early SAMs going up, the following planes would also have to be raised:
A-4E (Early), Ayit, Hunter F.58, Yak-130, A-4E Early (M), and A-4E.
and pangolin demands spaas to be raised to 10.3 yeah sure that makes sense.
No unguided spaas is hitting helis 5km away.
And helis come with HIRSS, IRCM and so on, its plenty of difficult locking them at range.
The seekers even get influenced by the map weather how well they actualy can lock stuff
