Ok, Cope…
Because it hasnt been touched in 3 Weeks…
+its working normal for me
Could be a server/netcode issue. I had horrendous problems with latency and packet loss the last few days. One match was >40% packet loss constantly over the whole duration of the match…
Oh, yea, have been noticing it too.
No, there’s really something weird. What server are you playing?
I’ve been thinking about the leaks too, but thought maybe it’s something serverwise?
I do really want to get to the bottom of it, because it feels like it’s almost half as efficient as before.
And I do really play it a lot.
EU: Ping around 19
Oh, mine is 200-230 in general… NA…
Found the issue
But it’s been like this all the time…
Unfortunately - the only option.
Me too, the IRIS-T moving from opposite side and have high speed on radar suddenly. and in radar it has crazy speed and turn too. (this thing sometimes happened when enemy using flares and at close range or during launch the IRIS-T to engaged enemy missile). How can I know the IRIS-T moving so fast because my radar scale around 50km and 100km. Ofc it’s looks weird with that much speed on radar screen with that big scale radar range.
Good lord, just fix the Datalink issues and missiles being spoofed by a fart. SLM and all other AAs are suffering because of this.
it makes for an incredibly inconsistent experience, sometimes it acts like a supermissile and other times its evaded by accident

Is anybody hitting targets past 20km?
Very rarely, but I get consistent 10-12 km kills. At 20 km, they pretty much have to be on a head-on and not be paying attention, otherwise they will just outrun the missile easily.
Mine 31km, kill an Su34. But that was long time ago when IRIS-T SLM being added. People still figuring out how to fly against new SPAA. Currenly only around 10-15km depends on type of target. Can be more further if enemy using slow plane (since most of them appeared on radar from 23-24km)
The best strategy to kill targets that are trying to evade is to detect their evasive maneuver using a radar screen and then launch a second IRIS-T that would start gaining speed and moving in a direction of a new estimated collision point. Repeat until begone.

this would be a lot easier if we didnt have to wait an eternity to scan the target again
I don’t think that it works correctly in game rn. Feels like having a FC tower instead of a combat-ready vehicle.
its the radar not having the correct scan pattern
what happens is:
Target ping
1sec passes
Target track (inaccurate)
another sec passes
Target track (good enough)
launch missile
target turns away
radar loses track
target ping oh hey look a “new” target (same target)
whole rigamarole all over again
launch second missile
I mean it’s AESA, I’d suppose that the duration of track is supposed to be at least 180 degrees if not more…
Feels like it pings it first, then,
-I guess he goes here
180 degrees later
-NVM, he goes here
180 degrees later
-NVM, Idk who that is, lol
-OH LOOK 300 MMs WITHOUT ASSIGNED TRACK NUMBERS, THAT’S A JOB FOR ME
Idk what you mean by 180, but TRML-4D can look ±50° away from the radar direct LoS, or 100° in total.
In the horizontal plane. In vertical is is +70° -2° in the normal mode of operation.
